Manila, Dec. 22 -- The Land Transportation Office-Negros Island Region (LTO-NIR) has intensified transport terminal inspections to ensure road safety and compliance with traffic regulations during holiday travel.

The operations are part of the Department of Transportation-LTO's "Oplan Biyaheng Ayos! Pasko 2025," a nationwide enforcement and commuter assistance campaign running from Dec. 20, 2025 to Jan. 4, 2026.

On Monday, six personnel of the LTO-NIR Regional Law Enforcement Service (RLES) conducted an inspection and enforcement operation at the Bacolod South Ceres Terminal.

The 10 buses checked passed the inspection, with no violations or apprehensions recorded, the RLES said in a report.
