Manila, Nov. 11 -- The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has rescheduled the consultation on the fare hike petitions for public utility vehicles (PUVs) to Nov. 12.

In a statement on Tuesday, the LTFRB said the public consultation was reset due to Super Typhoon Uwan that forced Malacanang to suspend government work on Monday.

"This public consultation aims to present the basis of the proposed fare adjustments, gather inputs from stakeholders, and ensure transparency and inclusivity in the decision-making process," the LTFRB said.

It encouraged public participation to ensure their perspectives would be considered before a final decision is made on the PUV fare adjustment.
