Manila, March 25 -- The Light Rail Transit 1 (LRT-1) is extending its weekday operating hours starting March 26.

The rail line's last train will leave Dr. Santos station in Paranaque City at 10:30 p.m. while the last train from Fernando Poe Jr. station in Quezon City will leave at 10:45 p.m., according to LRT-1's advisory Tuesday.

The LRT-1 is the second rail line to extend its operating hours at night, following the same move by MRT-3 which started on Monday.

From Monday to Friday, the first train departs Dr. Santos and Fernando Poe Jr. stations at 4:30 a.m. and 5 a.m. on weekends and holidays.
