MANILA, April 7 -- Train operations of the Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT-1), the Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT-2), and the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) will be suspended from April 17 (Maundy Thursday) to April 20 (Easter Sunday) as part of their annual maintenance activities during the long Holy Week break.

"This Holy Week temporary suspension is a crucial part of our annual maintenance program, allowing us to perform essential upkeep and implement upgrades that will contribute to a more reliable and convenient service for our valued commuters," Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) president and CEO Enrico Benipayo said in a statement on Monday.
