Manila, Jan. 20 -- ressure area (LPA) spotted 20 km. northeast of Romblon will bring scattered rain showers over most parts of the country, the weather bureau said Wednesday.
In its 4 a.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said scattered to widespread rains and thunderstorms will prevail over the provinces of Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, Quezon, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, and Catanduanes, while the rest of Luzon will experience scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the LPA and the tail-end of a frontal system.
The LPA will cause scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over central and eastern Visayas, Northern Mindanao, and the Caraga regions.
