Manila, Nov. 12 -- The low pressure area (LPA) spotted east of southern Luzon is likely to develop into a tropical depression (TD) and may affect the coastal and inland sections of Luzon and Visayas Tuesday.
In its 4 a.m. weather forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said at 3 a.m., the LPA was last observed at 910 kilometers east of Virac, Catanduanes. It will be named "Ramon" once it develops into a TD.
Visayas, Bicol region, Northern Mindanao, Zamboanga Peninsula, Caraga and the province of Quezon, Marinduque and Romblon will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms caused by the LPA.
