Manila, Oct. 27 -- After nearly three decades of hiding, a long-time fugitive wanted for multiple murders, including the killing of a police officer, was finally captured in Santa Rosa, Nueva Ecija on Sunday afternoon.

The suspect, identified by his aliases "Pandong" and "Ed," 57, was arrested around 1:30 p.m. in Barangay Mapalad by a joint tracker team from the Regional Special Operations Group 3, Santa Rosa Municipal Police Station and Nueva Ecija Provincial Police Office, according to a news release on Monday.

Authorities served multiple non-bailable warrants of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court of Cabanatuan City, including those for murder and frustrated murder.
