Manila, July 10 -- Alberto Lim Jr. will banner the Philippine team in the Davis Cup Asia/Oceania Group IV in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia next week.

Joining him are Eric Olivarez Jr., Ruben Gozales Jr. and Francis Casey Alcantara. Head coach is US-based Joseph Lizardo, himself a veteran Davis Cupper.

Aside from the Philippines, other countries eyeing promotion in the zonal competition are Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Pacific Oceania, Qatar, Iraq, and Nepal.

There will be two pools of four teams. The top team in each pool will play a promotion play-off against the No. 2 in the other pool. The teams finishing in third place in each pool will play a relegation play-off against the teams finishing fourth in the other pool.
