Manila, May 7 -- A senator on Wednesday reaffirmed support for the Marcos administration's flagship railway and infrastructure projects, following updates from Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon on the status of major transport initiatives across the country.

"These are the same projects I've been advocating for over the years," Senator JV Ejercito said, citing the North-South Commuter Railway, the revival of the Bicol Express line, and the long-awaited Mindanao Railway, which are crucial to regional development and traffic decongestion.

Ejercito acknowledged that challenges remain in right-of-way acquisition and funding but expressed confidence in the administration's resolve.
