Manila, July 10 -- The Laoag International Airport is set to resume commercial flight operations on July 20 after it was temporarily stopped for almost four months since the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) lockdown.

Cluster airport manager Ronald Estabillo said Friday the Ilocos Norte Provincial Health Task Force has already approved the resumption of commercial flights but inbound passengers should undergo health protocols.

"During the lockdown, our airport remained open to government, maintenance, emergency, and sweeper flights and comes July 20, inbound passengers can now touch down at the Laoag airport," he said.
