Manila, Feb. 17 -- Senate Minority Leader Aquilino Pimentel III on Monday warned that repeated mentions of death and killing can be a symptom of a serious personality disorder.

Pimentel made the statement after former president Rodrigo R. Duterte, during the PDP-Laban proclamation rally in the City of San Juan on Feb. 13, mentioned about killing 15 senators to ensure the party's senatorial slate wins in the upcoming elections.

"A person's obsession with the topic of death and killing, mentioning it every time he or she speaks, is a worrying sign of a serious personality disorder," Pimentel said in a Viber message to reporters.
