Manila, Feb. 20 -- Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas senatorial candidate Erwin Tulfo on Thursday vouched for the competence of former journalist Jay Ruiz, who will replace outgoing Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Acting Secretary Cesar Chavez.

Speaking to reporters in Dumaguete City, Tulfo said he is confident that Ruiz can help the Marcos administration amid its intensified campaign against misinformation and disinformation, as well as in promoting the government's policies and programs.
