Manila, April 11 -- The intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) affecting Mindanao will bring rains across the island, as well as Eastern Visayas, the weather bureau said Friday.

This will bring scattered rains and thunderstorms over Eastern Visayas, the Caraga and Davao regions, Northern Mindanao, and Soccsksargen.

Moderate to heavy rains in these areas could result in flash floods or landslides, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its 4 a.m. bulletin.

The rest of Mindanao will experience isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the ITCZ.

PAGASA said the rest of the country will continue to experience isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by the easterlies.
