Manila, July 10 -- A team from the Aircraft Accident Inquiry Board (AAIB) is set to arrive next week to investigate the July 7 plane crash here, an official said Friday. Antonio Alfonso, Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP)-Zamboanga manager, said the probe aims to determine why the six-seater Piper Seneca plane crashed into the shore of Barangay Sinunuc. Earlier, Alfonso said the plane did not crash but did an "emergency landing at sea" after it incurred a single-engine failure.
