Manila, July 15 -- Last June, a friend of mine was visiting Baguio with his family when a vendor approached them, offering what were labeled as "Sagada oranges." The uniform size and color of the fruits, clearly imported from China, did not surprise him. Having worked on coffee farms in Sagada for nearly a decade, he immediately recognized the deception.
