Manila, Feb. 13 -- Senator Imee Marcos remains committed to advocating for creating a single agency to manage water resources, emphasizing that water scarcity will become a major issue in the next 10 to 15 years.

In a press conference here Wednesday evening, the re-electionist senator said multiple governing agencies currently oversee water management, yet the fundamental problem persists - "there is no water at the end of the day."

"For me, one of the issues is there is simply too many bumping into each other and encroaching into each other's turf," Marcos said.
