Manila, March 3 -- Debaters from the University of San Agustin - College of Law (USA-COL) from this city will represent the Philippines at the White & Case International Rounds of the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition in Washington, D.C.

The USA-COL bested 27 other participating schools during the 2025 Divina Law-UST Philippine Jessup Cup held at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila on Feb. 8 to March 2, earning the university its back-to-back win.

"I am very happy and proud because Iloilo will represent the whole country, beating other law schools in the country," Mayor Jerry Trenas said in an interview on Monday.
