ILOILO CITY, Nov. 27 -- Iloilo was recognized as the Most Outstanding Local Government Unit in Localizing the Population and Development (PopDev) Agenda, besting two other finalists for the provincial category during the 2025 Rafael M. Salas Kaunlarang Pantao Award (RMSKPA) on Wednesday.

The RMSKPA honors exemplary local government units (LGUs) that have significantly contributed to the achievement of inclusive and sustainable socioeconomic development through effective population and development programs.
