Manila, March 24 -- The local government here partnered with the Department of Education-Division of Iloilo City for its "TRASHkolekta: Basura ta, Manggad naton," formalized with the signing of a memorandum of agreement on Monday.

"This memorandum of agreement signifies more than just a policy. It is also a call to action for every Ilonggo to take part in preserving our city and securing a livable future for generations to come," Mayor Jerry Trenas said in a statement. "By working together, we are not only managing waste, but we are also transforming mindsets, inspiring change, and shaping a cleaner, greener, and more progressive Iloilo City."
