Manila, Sept. 16 -- The municipality of Banna in Ilocos Norte is making safe, clean, and potable water available for all its villages through a reverse osmosis water filtration system.
According to Mayor Mary Chrislyn Abadilla, the water purifier technology has so far been installed in six of the municipality's 20 villages: Bugasi, Caestebanan, Sinamar, Bomitog, Imelda, and Caribquib.
"The local government unit of Banna wants to ensure that every Bannatiran has free drinking water," Abadilla said in a statement Tuesday, assuring residents that the installation in other villages will follow soon.
