Manila, March 27 -- The Philippine National Police (PNP) has activated its security plan in Ilocos Norte for the May 12 elections and the Palarong Pambansa, as well as the expected influx of tourists during summer months.
Police Col. Frederick Obar, provincial director of the Ilocos Norte Police Provincial Office (INPPO), confirmed this on Thursday during the joint meeting of the Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) and Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC) for the first quarter of the year at the Capitol session hall.
