Laoag City, Aug. 5 -- The province of Ilocos Norte is making healthcare services more accessible to the public with two mobile medical and laboratory clinics that will soon be deployed to remote areas.

In an interview on Tuesday, Dr. Rickson Balalio, provincial health officer, said the mobile laboratories were donated by First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos through her "LAB for All" project.

"These were all donated by the national government through the DOH (Department of Health) and the First Lady. We will use these during outreach programs, particularly in remote communities," Balalio said.
