Manila, Nov. 6 -- The Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) will review the contract for the Matina Gravahan flood control dike after a joint inspection with the Department of Public Works and Highways on Wednesday.

ICI Special Adviser Rodolfo Azurin Jr. said the project's structural integrity is in question after it sustained damage less than two years after completion.

"We need to revisit the contract to determine possible sanctions against the contractor and those involved in the project's implementation," Azurin said.

The inspection covered the flood control dike and rockfall netting at Junction Shrine Hills along the Davao City Diversion Road.
