MANILA, Nov. 1 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Saturday emphasized the importance of providing funds to the Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) to sustain the gains of its ongoing investigation into anomalous flood control projects.
Marcos confirmed that the ICI has already received the budget needed for its continued operations, as well as for staff support and expansion.
He said he is not privy to the exact amount.
"As I said, we're committed to make sure that they can, to fund their investigation, to make sure that everything that they want to do with the investigation, they can do, that they have the people that they need, equipment that they need, all of that," he said in a media interview in Busan, South Korea...
