Manila, Sept. 28 -- The House of Representatives on Monday started its plenary deliberations on the proposed PHP4.506-trillion national budget for 2021.

House appropriations committee chair Eric Yap, sponsor of House Bill 7727 or the 2021 General Appropriations Bill, said the proposed budget is crucial to the country's recovery from the adverse effects of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic as it will serve as an investment for resiliency and sustainability.
