Manila, June 25 -- The House of Representatives' prosecution panel on Wednesday formally submitted to the Senate, sitting as an impeachment court, a certification affirming that it has fully complied with constitutional requirements in impeaching Vice President Sara Duterte.
The panel also filed a Manifestation reasserting its unqualified entry of appearance, contradicting Duterte's legal team, which filed a conditional Entry of Appearance Ad Cautelam - a precautionary submission that questions the jurisdiction of the impeachment court.
In its submission, the House prosecution panel attached an enrolled copy of Resolution 328 (House Resolution 2346), which was adopted in a plenary session on June 11.
