Manila, Jan. 7 -- Health Secretary Teodoro Herbosa on Wednesday dismissed reports that President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is preparing to replace him, following earlier online reports claiming the Chief Executive is planning his "most extensive Cabinet shakeup yet", affecting at least nine officials.

"There's no truth to that," Herbosa told Palace reporters in a media briefing when asked about the report.

"I think Usec. Claire (Castro) already said yesterday that there is no revamp of the Cabinet. But, we in the Cabinet all serve at the pleasure of the President. So, if ever the President wants to replace me, that is the prerogative of our President," he added.
