Manila, Oct. 27 -- The local government and partner agencies are on high alert for Monday's weather as they continue to clear roads blocked by recent landslides and flooding.

The City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Department (CDRRMD) reported eight landslides in Barangay Dansolihon. Simultaneously, residents in Barangays Iponan and Canitoan evacuated after the Iponan River's level rose sharply on Sunday afternoon.

Barangay Canitoan Chairperson Lancelot Padla said they assisted 108 families.

Neighboring Barangay Pagatpat also reported that a dike along the Iponan River was partly damaged due to the floodwater.
