Manila, Dec. 16 -- The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has issued detailed guidelines on the implementation of the newly approved Wellness Leave (WL) for government workers, a benefit aimed at promoting mental health, physical well-being and work-life balance in the public sector.
In an advisory on Tuesday, the CSC said the policy has been published in the Daily Tribune and will officially take effect 15 days after publication, in accordance with CSC Resolution 2501292.
Under the policy, government agencies may grant up to five days of WL per year, separate from the existing vacation leave, sick leave and special leave benefits.
