Manila, March 3 -- The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) is set to enhance its flagship GSIS Touch mobile application with a facial authentication feature, improving security and accessibility for its members and pensioners.

GSIS President and General Manager Arnulfo Veloso announced the new development in an interview with Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon on Monday, emphasizing the agency's commitment to digital innovation.

He said the development of the facial authentication feature eliminates the need for users to remember their user ID and password.

"Ipapakita lang ang kanilang mukha sa camera at maa-access na nila ang kanilang account (They can just show their face to the camera and then can access their account)," he said.
