Manila, June 25 -- The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) has released a total of PHP413.4 billion in loans, benefiting over 1.9 million approved applications under its flagship Ginhawa Flex and Ginhawa Lite loan programs.

GSIS President and General Manager June Arnulfo Veloso made the announcement during the Stakeholders Dialogue on Wednesday.

Launched in September 2023, the Ginhawa Flex multi-purpose loan has released PHP401.19 billion to 1,437,060 members as of June 23, 2025.

Borrowers can take out loans of up to PHP5 million or 14 times their monthly salary. The loan is payable for up to 15 years, depending on their paid premiums.
