Manila, Oct. 30 -- The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) assured the public on Thursday that its investment operations are governed by stringent standards and robust safeguards to ensure the responsible management of its members' contributions.

Speaking at The Agenda media forum, GSIS President and General Manager Wick Veloso said transparency and discipline are the foundation of the pension fund's investment strategy.
