Manila, July 22 -- The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) on Tuesday assured its members and pensioners that all programs and transactions remain fully operational despite the preventive suspension of several officials by the Office of the Ombudsman.

In a news release, the GSIS Board of Trustees said it has taken immediate steps to ensure business continuity and uninterrupted delivery of services.

"All programs, member transactions, and benefits delivery remain fully operational and uninterrupted," the GSIS said.

To ensure leadership continuity, the Board designated Executive Vice President for Support Services Juliet Bautista as officer-in-charge of the GSIS during a special board meeting.
