Manila, June 26 -- The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) won two major awards at the 2025 GovMedia Conference and Awards held June 19 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore, recognizing its efforts to empower women and expand access to affordable housing.

In a press release Thursday, the pension fund said it received the Social Equity and Inclusion Initiative of the Year-Pension for its short film Hapag, and the Public Sector Initiative of the Year-Housing for its Lease with Option to Buy (LWOB) Program.
