ILOILO CITY, Nov. 20 -- The Philippine Army's 3rd Infantry Division (3ID), headquartered at Camp Gen Macario Peralta Jr. in Jamindan, Capiz, continues with its humanitarian assistance and disaster response (HADR) mission in areas affected by Typhoon Tino in Cebu.

The HADR, spearheaded by the Joint Task Group Cebu in cooperation with the 53rd Engineer Brigade, covered clearing operations, unloading of relief goods, search and retrieval missions, and the transport of a cadaver from Nov. 13-18, the 3ID said in a statement on Thursday.

Clearing operations were conducted in Barangay Cotcot, Liloan; Barangay Poblacion, Talisay City; and Barangay Buluang, Compostela.
