Manila, June 20 -- The national government is focused on providing immediate interventions to restore and stabilize the power supply in Siquijor, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. said Friday.
"Fix the problem, not the blame. Kasi sinasabi, sinong dapat mananagot dyan? Oh sige, sige. Pero ayusin muna natin 'yung problema (Because they are asking who must be held accountable. Fine, but let's fix the problem first)," Marcos said in his latest podcast when asked about his directive to address the power crisis in Siquijor.
He said the two generator sets deployed from Palawan to Siqujor are already functioning and the government has also provided fuel to meet the inventory shortage.
