MANILA, Dec. 5 -- The government earned PHP9.4 million with the sale of two more luxury cars seized from contractor couple Pacifico and Cezarah Discaya.
During Friday's auction sale at the Bureau of Customs (BOC) main office in Port Area, Manila, two of the four luxury vehicles, Toyota Tundra (2022) and Toyota Sequoia (2023), were sold for P3,480,000 and P6 million, respectively.
RMCE Metal Products Trading Corporation was the winning bidder for the red Tundra while the orange Sequoia was awarded to businessman Jose Maria Esteban III.
There were no takers for the Rolls Royce Cullinan (2023) with an original floor price of PHP45,314,391.11 but was reduced to PHP36,281,415.72, and the Bentley Bentayga (2022) that was originally auctioned...
