Manila, April 11 -- Following the findings of the Education Commission II, the Department of Education (DepEd) and the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) have signed a joint circular to establish more child development centers (CDC) in the country's underserved areas. There are 3,800 barangays in the country that have no CDCs, as reported by the Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Council.
The signing of the joint circular is also in line with the directive of PBBM to ensure quality education for Filipino children.
