Manila, July 10 -- The rehabilitation of revetment walls along the Davao River is "almost complete," the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) said Thursday.
The ongoing rehabilitation covers two sections of the revetment walls in Barangay Mandug, Davao City, according to DPWH Regional Office 11 Director Juby Cordon.
In a report to DPWH Secretary Manuel Bonoan, Cordon said the reinforcement projects in the DDF Village and Bayanihan Street sections of Davao River are now 94 percent and 87 percent complete, respectively.
With a cumulative cost of PHP241.25 million funded under the 2024 Regular Infrastructure Program, the projects are targeted to be completed in the last quarter of 2025.
