Manila, March 29 -- A training aircraft crash-landed on an agricultural field in Barangay Lalangan, Plaridel, Bulacan on Friday afternoon.

Capt. Valentin Torres III and his student, Johann Kyle San Diego, survived but with no information yet on the extent of their injuries.

They were transported to Marcelo-Padilla Children and Medical Hospital in Barangay Banga I.

The aircraft, bearing tail number RP-C896 and operated by Fliteline Aviation, was on a routine local flight when it went down. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
