Manila, Dec. 28 -- Intensified police manhunt operations against insurgents facing charges in courts recently netted a female member of the New People's Army (NPA) in Agusan del Norte.

The fugitive, identified only as "Jai," 26, was on Dec. 23 in Barangay Bancasi, Butuan City on Dec. 23, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) said in a social media post on Sunday.

The belated CIDG report said Jai is a member of the Sub-Regional Committee 1 of the North Central Mindanao Regional Committee, a key regional command of the NPA.

The suspect is included in the military's Periodic Status Report and has arrest warrants for rebellion issued by a Gingoog City court on Aug. 21, 2021; and for Crimes Against International Humanitarian...
