Fair for students who want to study in US set in Cebu

Manila, Feb. 8 -- The United States Embassy will hold its second annual EducationUSA Fair at the Radisson Blu Hotel here on February 28.

EducationUSA adviser Princess Grace Wooden said Thursday representatives of 35 US colleges and universities will arrive for the fair, where they will meet with Filipino students in the Visayas and Mindanao wanting to study in the US.

"We are bringing in school representatives from the States as we want to make applying to a US college or university easier for prospective Filipino students," Wooden said.

EducationUSA, she said, is a network of advisers offering information, orientation, and guidance to students searching for the right college institution in the US that fits their educational needs.
