Manila, Nov. 3 -- Sen. Jinggoy Ejercito Estrada on Monday said he would continue to pursue his application for a writ of preliminary injunction before the San Juan Regional Trial Court (RTC) after the court denied his prayer for a temporary restraining order (TRO) against former Bulacan first district assistant engineer Brice Hernandez.

In a statement, Estrada's office clarified that the RTC's recent resolution denied only the TRO request, while his injunction plea remains pending and is set for hearing on Nov. 12.

Both parties will be allowed to present their arguments and evidence during the proceeding.
