Kathmandu, Aug. 5 -- The Employment Permit System (EPS) of South Korea is opening applications for the Korean language test for Nepali citizens from August 11 through August 16.

Issuing a public notice on Monday, the EPS section under Nepal's Department of Foreign Employment has called for applications for the first phase of language test 2025 to be held in Kathmandu. The successful candidates will get placement in the manufacturing sector and livestock farming in South Korea.

The first phase of the language test has targeted to recruit 5,300 Nepali migrant workers. Of the number, 3,500 will be selected for the manufacturing sector and 1,800 in the livestock farming in South Korea.
