Manila, June 24 -- The two main border crossings in Israel- via Egypt and Jordan- are all fully operational, with complete security mechanisms in place to ensure the safety of all foreign nationals, including Filipinos intending to exit the Jewish state.

In a luncheon meeting in Makati City Tuesday, Israel Ambassador to the Philippines Ilan Fluss said risks remain but the crossings are all open.

"The crossings are open, of course, Israel is a small country so it depends where these missiles would fall, there's always a risk, but generally speaking those crossings, I don't think are under any special risk," he said.
