Manila, Feb. 20 -- The Fundacion Educacion y Cooperacion (Educo) Philippines launched on Thursday new projects that promote children's rights and well-being in the Bicol Region.

The organization launched the Resilient Education in Emergencies for Children's Empowerment and Vital Education (Project RECEIVE) and an explorative study on perceptions, beliefs, and understanding regarding Filipino child well-being (Project UPFRONT).

For Project RECEIVE, Educo is targeting at least 60 schools and 30 communities, reaching more than 10,800 participants.

For project UPGRADE, the group will engage with 30 public elementary schools-16 from Manito town, Albay province, and 14 from Castilla and Donsol towns in Sorsogon province.
