Manila, Jan. 5 -- The innermost lanes of both the northbound and southbound sections of Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue (EDSA), from Roxas Boulevard to Orense, are now open to authorized passenger buses following the completion of the asphalt overlay as part of the EDSA Rehabilitation project.

The rehabilitation project was completed on schedule in line with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s directive to fast-track improvements to ensure faster and more comfortable travel as commuters return to work and school after the holidays.

Acting Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Giovanni Lopez thanked Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Vince Dizon for finishing the project on time.
