Manila, Jan. 30 -- Senator Francis Escudero on Friday said early detection and clear public advisories are key defenses against the Nipah virus, urging health and border authorities to keep surveillance and preparedness systems fully active.
Escudero said that while the Philippines remains at low risk based on current health advisories, authorities should be vigilant and proactively monitor developments.
"Early detection and transparent reporting remain the strongest defenses against emerging health threats," Escudero said.
