Manila, Jan. 9 -- The Department of Social Welfare and Development's (DSWD) Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) has released PHP2 million in seed capital to support seven livelihood associations in Jamindan, Capiz, as they launch their chosen livelihood ventures.
"The DSWD continues to support the Marcos administration's initiatives to enhance the socio-economic condition of the vulnerable, disadvantaged, and marginalized groups. One of the efforts being done by the Department is through the provision of livelihood grants to help Sustainable Livelihood Program Associations (SLPAs) to achieve their respective businesses or enterprises," Assistant Secretary Irene Dumlao said in a statement on Friday.
