Manila, Sept. 5 -- The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) 11 (Davao Region) has launched the Emergency Cash Transfer (ECT) Offline Payout System to speed up and simplify financial aid distribution for disaster-hit families.

In a statement on Friday, the DSWD-11 said the system was developed by its Information and Communication Technology Management Section (ICTMS), through the Disaster Response Management Division (DRMD).

The system automates payout steps such as validation, record updates, payroll, and real-time reporting, reducing paperwork, easing crowding, and saving time.
